The biggest thing I get from this song, especially watching it performed live, is the absolute joy in Joe Strummer's words and music. There's such a feeling of hope, of generosity, of respect and tolerance in these five minutes. He may not be with us, but he'll always be with us, you know?

This version is fucking dynamite. Still miss the man to this day. He was getting better and better just as we lost him. Ah well 4 years of the Mescaleros is better than 20 years of most other bands.
