BMWCCA Autocross on a runway! 1st in my STI

Is this not the coolest autocross course or what? It was at Grayson County Airport in Denison, TX. The course itself was laid out on a runway strip. And it was so long that the course took nearly 2 minutes to complete and I reached a top speed of around 85 to 90 mph.

The way the classing works for non-BMW's with the BMWCCA is perhaps a bit crude and with 350 hp I had an advantage over the other cars in my class as a result. So I was able to win my class pretty easily. When I go back to racing with the SCCA I'll be brought back down to earth for sure. Still, this was the most fun I've had at an autocross in a long time. Nice recovery at ~1:04. 1:40 for an autox track is freakin' huge.
