And yet great britains other violent crimes have almost tripled ever since their gun ban. FBI website. oh yeah and all of austrailias violant crimes gone up including gun crimes went up by 28% and switzerland has some of the lowest crime rates. This is all on the FBI website of statistics.

yet in comparison to other developed countries which outlaw gun ownership or have heavy regulation (except for switzerland, which needs gun ownership for their trained militia), the united states has a far higher firearm homicide rate. Whether or not it is currently in a slump is irrelevent.

where did I suggest that chicago was a city I said: compare Austin Texas with Chicago, (or any city with CCW). To solve the density problem, look at the gun deaths PER CAPITA! if you do so, you'll see that criminals tend to operate in cities where guns are banned because that way they are 100% sure that law abbiding citizens dont stand a chance of fighting back, there is nothing more dangerous to a criminal than a trained armed citizen scared to death trying to defend his loved ones
