She looks really tall on the ice =] even though she's just 5'4"

I think she just needs to lock her knees a little bit more and add more power to her jumps. Then, she really can be the next Sasha Cohen with a little less power and whole lot more grace and artistry

her spins is ghetto. But she need to practice more of her jumps because its the majority of the points than spins. USA NEEDS TO STEP IT UP IN THE OLYMPICS. JAPAN HAS SOME EXCELLENT JUMPERS

I remember how important it used to be for skaters to do Compulsory Figures, and how now, fortunately, that's long gone. As physical as these athletes have to be, I still hope that some day technical achievement will take a back seat to artistic impression. It's sad to think that a years work hinges on one triple axel and not overall artistic impression. Alissa is elegant and striking, and just about the very best skater we have.

She makes the most beautiful lines with her spirals..her spins are amazing...by far my favorite skater :)
