  • I like the Carnatic touch of Mrudunga, Taal. That's make it sound different!

    Didn't like the graphic though!

  • dont know why hridayanath ji changes some words in some(or i should say quite a lot!!) songs . . . Smt. ShantAbaii SheLke had written this like mAge ubhA chakrapANI pudhre ubhA chakrapANI . . urrrggghhh :-//

  • My name is Mangesh... Hahaha... Awesome, at least ONE song for me... ;)

  • Asha Tai Ultimate,Jevdhae Sunder lyrics, tya hooni atishya god tumcha awaj.

  • Aashaji has the voice, Riyaz and sweetness in her songs which move our hearts and soul. Proud to be an India where so many talented musicians and singers have contributed to our traditions.

  • Excellent song by Asha Tai.

  • EXECELLENT Song sung by Asha Bhonsaleji. Thnaks for the upload. I WAS JUST DYING TO HEAR THE SONG. I HEARD IT SO MANY TIMES DURING MY CHILDHOOD AROUND 50 YEARS BACK..........

  • rbsavant very well describe the song

    neelrudra

please can you upload call the songs of this movies (Mahananda)

  • Many thanks for your translation. It adds charm to my musical understanding. I think we share the universal message carried by this great Bhajan in sound. Tears do not flow without meaning. You are right about the minimal use of instruments. The 'svars' and 'shrutis' are equally minimally employed, heightening the effect of restraint and simplicity

  • Dear @mahmudbaig, The mukhda of the bhajan, "Majhya kade dev maza.....", means that, "My lord is looking at me (watching over me)..., the lord is standing behind me and He is standing in front of me as well". Rest of it is the detailed description of the Lord Shiva, of his appearance and his nature. Amazingly beautiful composition. Just look at the minimal use of musical instruments... amazing!!! U r right it really brings tears to the eyes.
