Feb 21, 2010 - Ceremony of dedication for a new sculpture by Zenos Frudakis - "I'm Going Back Home", of Nina Simone, jazz singer and civil rights leader, in her hometown of Tryon, North Carolina.
Speakers include: Mayor J. Alan Peoples; Crys Armbrust, PhD; Lisa Simone Kelly; and Cathy Bowers, Poet Laureate of NC, reading a poem by Kwame Dawes, Poet-in-Residence, USC, titled "What Do They Call You?".
