Drunk Driver hits Police Cruiser

Occurrance: 2011/JAN/02 2325 hours.
Locations: 109 Street, 82 Ave Edmonton Alberta

Facts: A White Pontiac Grand Prix slams into an Edmonton Police Service vehicle. The driver of the White Pontiac Grand Prix is described as a Caucasian Male in his mid 20s. The White Pontiac Grand Prix ran a red light and at time of impact the driver with the onboard camera noticed that the wheel of the Pontiac Grand Prix is turned halfway right. Road Conditions was -7C and covered with ice and wet snow.
All persons related to the accident appeared to be uninjured. There was 2 occupants in each of the involving vehicle. Point of impact was focused primarily on the front passenger side door of the Police Cruiser

highly recommend changing the title of the video. The driver was not drunk. That is defamation.

You can also see his break lights, so I would argue that "ran a red light" is more of an inaccurate portrayal of the events in question than actual "fact."

You drive around with a camera in your car so you can be peoples eye witness?? You are a grade A douche with a capital "D". First off police cars have on board cameras secondly, go meet a girl or take up a hobby. I'll bet you weren't even going anywhere, just on your citizens patrol beat..... Epic fail!

@AtomicSphere im guessing this guy prolly got in some trouble from a mistake he made because of someone witnessing it... lol at least thats how he sounds. its as simple as this, if the guy in the grand prix had been driving appropriatly for the conditions, and not going so fast in ice and snow especially when approaching a redlight.. he never woulda had to worry about a witness in the first place... but people dont seem to get this until its them whose the victom and wishes it got caught on tape
