SIUC School of Journalism, Senior Lecturer and Journalist-In-Residence, Bill Recktenwald, was on WSIL News-3 This Morning talking with News 3's Emily Eddington about the Shawnee Project multimedia website and the book, "The Shawnee Forest: Illinois' Hidden Gem". This was a three semester long School of Journalism project that students documented the natural beauty, the people and the history of the forest and visited areas such as Little Grand Canyon and Cache River.
