How to change the LED's in the yaesu ft 8900r. You do this mod at your own risk i am not responsible for any damage or breaking the radio!.

  • Hello yes the LED's are 3.5V. The Yaesu ft8900 has resistors inline to limit the current to the LED. All the best

  • Great mod, the 8900 is a great radio, shame they didn't use the multicoloured LEDs they use in the 857/897, but when you have that cool blue, why ever would you want to change?! Well done James.
