A countdown of my picks for the top ten Dragon Quest songs of all time!

Expect some tracks from games 7 and 8, but also a handful of older tracks. One song I regret not using is the Zoma boss battle from Dragon Warrior 3 (Famicom version).

At the very end of the video. What was the main character wearing for armor? Is that something you get after you beat the dragonian trial?

Everyone is entitled to their opinon. But not having 'Town Theme' (DQIV), Dungeon Theme (DQV), Ending Theme (DQVII) and Mysterious Tower (VIII) and Overworld Theme (DQVIII) is a pretty big oversight....

I agree with your top two picks, though I probably would have put them in different areas.

@maxis2k Mysterious Tower and the Overworld are both beautifully orchestrated pieces of music. However, this list was already full of VIII songs as it is.

I think that "Toward the Horizon" should be on this list. It's my personal favourite Dragon Quest Song.

@GettinBurned I remember that one, it's from DQ5 and it's also in DQ Monsters.  It's hard to just pick 10 good songs from the series, really.

i love dragon quest and this brings back a lot of memory from the 9th one me and my cousin would play together at the others house and i will remember how amazy game dragon quest was when i played it on my ds and godess i loved it (sobbing).
