I love the thing about Betty's voice, btw. For some reason, I think it's really cool when trans people keep using their former voices every now and then.

I certainly hope Helen and Betty can pull it off. It is good to hear someone with MTF gender dysphoria can handle it without destroying the male within. The same being true of FTM people.

Wow. Just wow. I look at them both and think this is about as loving and as adult a way of dealing with this really challenging situation as it's possible to be. I have learned so much from both Helen and Betty, about choices, about love and respect. And I use it to try and guide my relationship with my wife - who faces what Helen faces. Such courage and maturity here, especially to do this interview. The first book is great, can't wait to read the next one.

Very touching to see that love still conquers all. Today's society can be so cruel and Helen is a real gem.
