@setdwoo remember that african americans were not considered to be humans but animals , that s why some felt the right to enslave them . You should educate yourself and study the history of slavery to find out which was the moral at its base .In fact it was just exactly the same one that nowadays justifies the suffering of animals : the right to use them in the name of a supposed superiority of your specie . Stay human.

The point being made is that before blacks were freed from slavery, they were viewed as property to be used how ever the owner sees fit. Decades later, now that they have been freed we realize that point of view was wrong.
The hope is that people will someday see the errors of their ways and see that they are wrong about animals being property as well.
Using animals to find a cure for AIDS? You talk about educating yourself, then make a statement like that?
Come on son. . .

YOU GUYS ARE MY HEROES!!!!!!!!!!!

@nutmeg169 Did you really just say freeing animals is just as good, if not better, than black people's rights? This is why no one listens to people like you...

How insulting to African Americans to compare the animal rights activist breaking into facilities and freeing animals to the pain and suffering that black Americans endured for hundreds of years. Educate yourself. Next time you feel you support dissolution of animal testing ask yourself if you want a cure for cancer, aids, and literally thousands of diseases. No medical science could proceed without testing it first. I know you would let them test if it was you with the disease wanting a cure.

@nutmeg169 people will understand this after 100 years we are very backward, just because we are modernized doesnt mean we are developed.

@SwingGirlBlues how can you not support harming the ecosystem when you eat meat? it takes 10kg of grain to produce 1kg of beef. think about that. idiot.
-
@SwingGirlBlues 1) those mink shouldn't have been there in the first place- they're not native.
2) which does more damage- keeping mink in cages and feeding them on the flesh of farmed animals so that they in turn can be killed for their fur, or having them run free and happy, taking only what they need and finding balance within the environment? theyre not responsible for declines in otthers and water voles- its humans with pollution and stealing habitats etc etc etc. its always humans.
why is the civil rights movement any greater than the animal rights movement?
If anything the ALF is more selfless, as none of those involved will gain any rights if the movement succeeds

What a great film, really enjoyed that.
This utterly pointless animal testing needs to end, it's barbaric and is more suited to cavemen than a supposed civilised society
