Bailey, Colorado, has a five year old tradition of conducting an "Unofficial" Parade of Lights. The event was started by Cutthroat Cafe owners Chip and Renie Thomas. It is simply a quiet display of community togetherness in a small mountain town.
The parade covers a distance of less than one mile across Main Street in Bailey and down Park County 64 to El Rio Cafe. The parade returns to the Cutthroat where participants and bystanders repair from the frigid night for hot chocolate and cookies.
