This video provides a nice vertical presentation of Mathcad's ability to support student learning throughout the secondary and undergraduate mathematics curriculum.
Having problems with integrating with units...any suggestions in keeping units the same while inside the integral instead of pulling it outside as a constant? Also any suggestions with temperature conversions cuz they never work and always have to convert to kelvin (yeh its not hard to convert, but still a pain especially if integrating nonisothermal reaction engineering problems).
I'm using Mathcad 14 and it does have an auto save function. I have set it to save after every minute. I agree that Mathcad crashes a lot and it could be very frustrating even with the auto save.
Mathcad is such a powerful tool. Too bad for the user interface. It is FULL OF BUGS. Although PTC released a few versions of Mathcad in the last years nothing ever changed. Scrolling takes forever, it can't handle large files, print preview rarely works, copying takes forever, you can't write equations on 2 rows unless the first operator from the second row is "+" ("-" is not an option), it crushes a lot and it doesn't have an autosave or recovery feature, etc. etc. Too bad...
