An early morning and a failed attempt at a bone fishing hook. Perhaps a Cold Steel Trailmaster isn't the right tool for tiny little jobs after all.

  • good series, and good and honest!

  • @bigskytrapper Thanks Trapper!

  • Dude, imagine if you had the proper skills handed to you from the parental. Then you'd already have had a kit of hooks already carved, the cordage already twisted, the sinkers carved, you'd have known the fishing spots, you'd have known where the cattails were. You're doing a great thing. The ancient ways are come again....

  • @rooster42x Nice! Ilike this comment, thanks!

  • really awesome series man! these were probably the best bushcraft videos i have watched in a very long time. i really love the filming and just the overall experience. not to mentipn that shelter looked awesome! what was the pot/can you were using to boil things in? it looks pretty small but awesome, i would like one for myself. Awesome series again! Alex

  • @AlexxMcGraw Thanks Alex! It's fun for me to try to "bring you with me" when I go and I learn more than just bushcraft when I make these videos. My boiling container is just a .5 litre wide mouth ss bottle, I don'nt know the brand but it was only about 6 dollars but I also sanded it and painted it with high temp BBQ paint.

  • Next time you eff the fire up... kick it away from the coals and piss on it. Works like a charm! You can roll it around a bit too to smother it, sleep in... thats my motto. Great vids though! Cheers

  • Good series mate really enjoyed watching.
