Here's Mikayla Gilbreath (14) performing with the DVHS Performance Jazz Ensemble (directed by David P. Duarté), and with Mr. Joel Di Bartolo, the long-time "Tonight Show" bassist who is famous for his performance on the theme from "JAWS."

Also performing is Mr. David Williams as trombone soloist.

Here they are with a remarkable performance on the song "So What," by Miles Davis. It was recorded in Seattle, Washington, at the Western International Band Clinic convention, on November 16, 2007.

Mikayla has been playing alto sax since September, 2005.
