Countess Albina du Boisrouvray sold $100 million of her own assets to found Association Francois-Xavier Bagnoud in memory of her son. Countess du Boisrouvrays son, Francois Xavier Bagnoud, was deeply devoted to Africa and to children, so the Countess dedicated herself to caring for children infected with HIV/AIDS after his untimely death. Association Francois-Xavier Bagnoud established houses to provide HIV/AIDS affected children with medical care and affection.
