And you're right... there isn't enough outrage at the injustices that are committed every day. Who among these outraged at the Bell verdict share a similar outrage when black people kill each other on the streets? Where's the outrage when anyone (of any color) kills a cop just doing his job?

The outrage here isn't real. It's a programmed outrage.

People need to learn to take responsibility for themselves.

The words are right there in your video, but it can't be said enough.

I would say, the biggest reason our young are finding it hard to achieve, is that they are afraid, even when they are in school. Any student who is allowed to say in school, when they threaten other students, is just going to increase the drop rate. Schools HAVE to be a safe for our young minds. We were lucky, we were able to move away from the schools, that had gangs.

I listened to part of your video and it was enough to know that you are conditioned. That's not an insult but a fact and I cant blame you. The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, Second Department, denied a motion by the detectives' attorneys to move the trial to a venue outside of Queens. Following the adverse ruling, the detectives waived a jury trial and instead submitted to a bench trial.

Trying to justify the death of an unarmed man by people who are suppose to protect and serve with stupid brain dead individuals who most likely never had a chance to make it in life(because they were borned in a precarious situation) is ridiculus. There are so many dynamics that you have to consider when you approach a situation like this and yes, white folks are to be blamed whether it is directly or indirectly, we just should not use it as an excuse not to achieve.

I think you young people are doing just fine. Change does not come as rapidly as we might expect. Consider the fact that slave labor still exist in Africa, and you will find your forward thinking to be a phenomenal accomplishment in this day and age.

Jwriter4, It is the job of the police to investigate crime. If no one comes forward with information, then how exactly do they stop crime? You say we are paying taxes. Who is paying the taxes? No business/No taxes. If people are not working, because there are no jobs, then where do you think these taxes are coming from. Drug Dealers and Gangs do not pay taxes! If you want a business to come to your area, then make it SAFE! Would you invest in a area controlled by criminals and gangs?
