I simply adore the snippet of scene where Alexei and his mother share that mother-son moment of a heart-felt hug, it brings me all the time to tears lol... such a good scene :)

I think Tatiana was the prettiest because of the slightly exotic features, Maria is a close second. Alexei is so cute in this movie, I like that they are giving him more of a personality.
Why is Alexandria portrayed as being quite old and frumpy in this movie? From what I have read she was beautiful and only started looking old during their imprisonment.

@cuteguy65 she was in real life too. Nicholas and Alexandra produced very good looking children. You can't help but wonder what their lives would have been like had they survived, or if the February Revolution not succeeded...
