@kittyspurrr He-they certainly did that, those guys saved hundreds maybe more, it was terrible there. I saw a Documentary where one Dutch man a Boy then was by a drop zone & had his first (half starved) wonderful taste of Cadbury's Chocolate (that fell past over the fence, he cried that it tasted so good, 7 he took some home for this Family, so not all Germans were 'Evil Nazis' obviously, Thanks for sharing i am sharing this with #israel AIPAC who presently starve Arab-Palestinians theirSiege.
My Daddy, who just passed away, was part of operation Manna. After several tours, it was a wonderful way for a man who felt close to God to feel as though he had done something good while at war.
I know it helped heal his heart to be dropping food rather than bombs. Bless you Daddy!
