IAVA Deputy Executive Director Todd Bowers discusses Gen. David Petraeus' comments about how the planned 9/11 Koran burnings in Florida can negatively impact troops overseas.
@FearDivinity It doesn't matter. It is childish, stupid and cowardly to boldly take credit for doing something you are doing, soley for the self engrandizing credit and not for the action of fighting for what you believe. If YOU were really doing it for me to "keep living in (my) little ignorant world that (you)..." you would be of a different mindset than you obviously are. Die for the koran, but not free speech, go figure. The US military BURNED BIBLES btw!!!
@YodadogProductions I don't think you really understand the situation or the repercussions that could occur. But hey keep living in your little ignorant world that WE FOUGHT TO PROTECT.
WHAT FUCKING CRAP THIS IS. Is freedom of speech in the Constitution that they SWORE TO PROTECT WITH THIER LIVES? A right is a right, either fight for it like a man/woman, or resign like a coward pussy. They are dying keeping Afgans from Koran wielding Afgans, but that's ok? Where is this "moral responsibility" in the Constitution. Defend our rights or shut the fuck up!! Don't whine about the danger, when it's what you signed up for.
Not only is the notion of burning Qurans hypocritical in the eyes of God-fearing Christians, but this is promoting an increase in bloodshed both at home and abroad. This pastor and his congregation are neither Christians as they profess to be nor are they patriots as they completely disregard both national and international security.
What is even worse is that our government is silent about it and will not comment. As said in the Marine Corps, "Silence is consent."
