Re: 2 Piece Rotary Pump (Phun)

My crude attempt at DeltaWound's pump design. There are only two pieces, except for the blocks guiding the water. The pipe is one part, with a thin bridge connecting the inner and outer areas. I'm still experimenting with motor settings, and will probably re-do the pipe to be closer to the size of a water particle.

In a way, it cheats, because the pipe and impeller are colliding and the water squeezes through a thin spot in the pipe. But I agree it is very effective, and that's the important thing. Great idea DeltaWound!

Nice job. Looks like you took more time making the u-bend than I did. Fit's the impeller better. ;)

that's not a pump. a pump produces precession energy, but in that case, the energy goes from the wheel.

Not good idea. Water doesn't behave enough like water to float the thing.

Instead, I did a simulation of 21121 water particles :D.

Now if the damn thing would upload right...
