Annual Mardi Gras Festivities and Parade held by Harry's New Orleans Cafe & Oyster Bar, San Miguel de Allende, Gto., Mexico. The Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday before Ash Wednesday) parade was held this year on Sunday 6/Feb/11 and included a Quartet marching down Hidalgo street playng Dixieland classics, 'Chinelo' carnival dancers, oversize buxom 'mojigangas' and a float with the Queen (Carmen Hecht) and two Kings (Luis and Monty) throwing beads, t-shirts and assorted goodies to celebrants lining the parade route in front of Harry's. Inside Voodu Chile lead singer David Garza (aka Lynx Maple) belted out Blues-Rock covers from the bar accompanied by blues harmonica great Billy Martin. The YouTube New Orleans Sound Dxieland soundtrack is 'Twlefth Street Rag' and 'Alexander's Ragtime Band.'
