the manufacturing base is not crumbling? Look at the Numbers? yeah the numbers were manipulated. Millions of fast food works had their jobs reclassified to manufacturing jobs to boost the manufacturing numbers. Other then fast food and debt we dont make anything in this country any more. We have turned into a consuming nation. Our Manufacturing plants have been replaced with strip malls.
