I just got through watching it again for the first time in over a decade.
I don't understand why people think that they have to "dumb down" and tweak the exact account of scripture for "modern times", or whatever reason.
My girlfriend said it kept her interest and thought it was good. I've told her about the Ramayana in the year we have been dating, and I have a big tattoo of Hanuman.

I thought it was so amazing back then. To be drawn like in a Menga style and be mostly accurate about the Ramayana (I've studied Srimad Bhagavatam my entire life) completely satisfied me when I was a child.

@IgorWelkenbach No.. he is not the guy who became buddha .. Ramayan is an epic poem written by Valmiki..not reality.... whereas the guy who became buddha was a prince initially kown by the name of Siddhārtha Gautama who left every luxury in life to seek enlightenment..also the founder of Buddhism .. and he is was real... u can search ..there is always wikipedia..
