(Adolf Cortel, July 2011) Using an etalon is the most effective way of observing Zeeman's splitting. The video shows the splitting and polarization of the 633 nm laser line when a HeNe laser tube is placed inside a solenoid. The circularly polarized glasses 3D from Avatar are used to check that in the longitudinal zeeman effect the splitted lines are circularly polarized in opposite directions
