  • Every Japanese cooking video i watch, they have the pan with the red dot in the middle. What are those pans called? and where can i purchase them?

  • @guitaristgirltc4fy I bought it in a supermarket. The red dot indicates if the pan is hot (if the dot is completely red, the pan is ready)

  • OK. I'll ask the dumb question... other than tradition, why would you use the little pan? It would seem easier to use a big pan or one of those griddles and knock it out all at once.

  • @Shamrockrancher Mmm ... the truth is that I have tried with a bigger frying pan, and it is not bad. But the truth is that I like to use a little one. In my opinion I think is easier to use a small saucepan.

(I'm not sure if I answer well to your question XD)

  • is the inside runny tho?

  • @paulabj415 the inside is almost cooked (I like it a little bit creamy XD)

  • I've never seen anyone put eggs into a cold pan and then turn on the heat.

  • @wontondestructxn Really the pan is hot, but in this moment I decided I wanted more heat XD

  • Stupid girl...She does not know how to do it.

  • @Shamrockrancher In addition to cookingland's reply, I personally don't feel It's traditional to use a small pan. I do agree theoretically that a larger pan can hold more, However, Smaller pans can be heated up faster then larger pans. Smaller pans are also easier to maneuver than larger pans.

  • thank you, this video was helpful

  • how did you get the egg so yellow?

  • OMG THIS SONG IS OFF NEGIMA!!!!!!!!!!! Oh sry and by the way love the tamagoyaki!!! lol

  • 2 questions: what kind of frying pan is it? how do u keep the egg from burning?

  • @Shamrockrancher - The point is to get rolled layers of egg where there is more texture throughout.

  • @Niccifirenze THANK YOU!!!!

  • @guitaristgirltc4fy Idk if somone answered you yet, but the brand that I know that uses the red dot is t-fal pans and pots.

  • Fantastic works!
