@IntenseGamer74 I once played with a band that was exactly that. They do not meet up to either of the bands, but These two bands we pretty much exactly what they sounded like.

They are called. Hail The Sun

@iseeRedpeople1 Maybe Translating The Name era Saosin... Cove's Saosin isn't all that similar to TFOT which is a heavily progressive band just like Circa Survive is. But, Circa Survive is a lot softer and doesn't have the same technical aspects The Fall of Troy has or the vague mathcore influence.

I unfortunately fall under the category of 'people who never got to see The Fall of Troy live'. And I was soooo close as well. They pulled out of a UK tour to work on In The Unlikely Event, where I was planning to see them, and they didn't come here again before splitting up. Goddamn.

Thomas Erak has more awesome on his own than circa survive and the rest of all things awesome combined. BUT.... circa survive on a whole is better as a whole band. It's pretty tied up for me:]
