@perumbada Im sorry if you feel offended, but im talking from my point of view. I do know what a Kathkali is and I've seen them perform before. But I get scared when I see their faces. It's my opinion, and you should respect that, and not try to argue with me.

@perumbada You're typing with caps-lock on. That means you are trying to yell or put emphasis on your statement. And also, I do know what a Kathakali is. I have Bangladeshi heritage. I've seen people perform as a Kathakali. All Im saying is that the face paints look scary.

I pray all these eminant Kathakali artists to bless to recicve an opportunity to learn this art form...I am sure being a bharat natyam artist I wud be able pick up this art by the blessing of a right Guru ...Please pray for me...I adore this art and wish to see my self as a part of it....performing ablsolutely for the pleasure of the Absolute truth.

Good video with excellent clarity. Thank you for uploading. Please provide the names of the artists, and the the singers. Please include the scene from which story and any other relevant details. The essence of Kathakali video is the facial expression, especially the eye movements. More "close up" shot would have been better. When is this performance recorded and where was the venue? Video taping Kathakali is entirely a different ball game! Thank you "permbada" for uploading this video.
