Super Mario Galaxy 2: Silver Stars in Double Time

Super Mario Galaxy 2: World 3 - Beat Block Galaxy - Silver Stars in Double Time - Prankster Comet (with post commentary)

In this video we head back to World 3 to do the Prankster Comet at the Beat Block Galaxy. This is a very challenging mission. In double time the blocks give you a sliver of a second to touch down before moving on. Yoshi can help you through the level, but be careful when using his flutter jump; it can easily throw your timing off.

Make your way through the level to the final pyramid containing five Silver Stars. You should try to employ the timing method on these, jumping right with the beat from block to block. Make the solid purple blocks your "home base" as you jump around to get each star.

After collecting all five Silver Stars the blocks stop in their last position, allowing you to climb to the top to get your Power Star!

Hope your ankle gets better soon! I died on the regular timing enough to make 1000 star bits so probably when I do this one it will be 6000! Boo me!

the name of the mission is misleading.

they actually switch 4 times as fast.

I found out that if you walk in the middle of two blocks(like right on the line) ,you can actually survive when the blocks change without jumping or even moving. Like, if you stand right in the middle of a green and a yellow block, when the blocks change you don't have to move.

i just couldnt get it so the first time i won...i jumped early to get the silver star so when i fall the platform would change so that i could fall and i could resume... but it was my last star so they paused the rotating and i fell....its hard to explain but it was also very devestating..lol

One tip would be jumping where you don't see a platform...seriously.
