this video tells you the basic rules of algebra and about 3 simple indices rules too and also tells you how to deal with brackets there are plenty of examples in this video including some challenging problesm because the goal of this is to master algebra as well as just revise it you should remember some rules probably before i even tell you them and try to solve the problems yourself first before i work them out
how would you simplfy (2ac^2)^3 i dont know how to work this out??

@tartan024 raise what is inside to power 3 remember in this case we multiply powers a is a 1 so becomes a^3 c^2becomes C^6 multiplying and the 2 we riase to power 3 in genral what is outside the brackets so we get 8 so we get 8a^3c^6

how did u get + q for the first one
cleton1 2 years ago
because -q +2q=+q think of it this way if it helps if i had a +q and -q or the other way round they would cancel and i would get 0 but i have 2q which is the same as q+q so if you like write it as -q+q+q you see the first 2 the plus and minus q's cancel and then we have q to add which is q

@cleton1 oh sorry its 5q not q that was very careless that 1
