A beautiful bhajan written by 'Sant Kabir'. Sung by Kailash kher. great composition. Most of the people haven't noticed this song but it's one of the best song of the album 'Kailasa'. Enjoy it.

Lyrics:

Naiharwa humka na bhave
Sai ki nagari param ati sundar
Jaha koi jaaye na aave
Chand suraj jahaa pavan na paani
Ko sandes pahuchave
Darad yaha Sai ko sunave
Bin Satguru aapno nahi koi
Jo yaha raah bataave
Kahat Kabeera sunoh bhai sadho
Sapne me Preetam aave
Tapan yaha jiya ki bujhaave
Naiharwa

  • hi rumayadav....as per my knowledge Naiharwa means 'mayka' (a girl's mother's place)...sant kabir used to describe this world as a girl's mayka. The way she leaves her mayka to meet her sole mate one day....all of us have to leave this world and die to meet our sole mate i.e. parmatma.

  • The original composition for this Nirguni Bhajan was that of Pandit Kumar Gandharva-ji and he too was inspired by the folk singers of Malwa. There is an additional stanza in between : " Aage Chalo Panth Nahin Sooje, Peechhe Dosh Lagave, Kehi Beedha Sasure Jaaoon Mori Sajani, Biraha Jor Jarave, Vishay Ras Naach Nachaave."

  • Daam Gooooood.

  • awesome song!!!!!!!!

  • This composition was researched from Saint Kabir lyrics and composed as it exists today by Pandit Kumar Gandharva, and was on one of his records in 1970. Kailash does a very good rendition, but pretty much the same composition as Pandit Kumar Gandharva. I do not care for some of the bass lines and harmonies that Kailashes track has...it actually takes away from the song. Everyone who likes this song should also know and listen to the original by Sri Pandit Kumar Gandharva, he was the genius.
