  • Oooh... Don't think I'd heard of any of the books before...

  • What a rich and tasteful exhibit, a collection just to dream of possessing -- even though a number of them have gone through my own hands over the years, too many gone, too many still coming in without sufficient time to keep up with the reading, or re-reading ... and just to hear about so intelligently described, and that wonderful British voice. Thanks for this.

  • wonderful, enjoyed seeing this amazing collection

  • Such good taste, Mark! Shiel, Blackwood, Hodgson - wonderful to see those books that I dream about...

  • A great little video. And thanks for the mention of Dagon, Mark. All the best, Carl Ford.

  • @scalefish most black cats look quite similar.....

  • excellent and interesting. inspiring....compelled to search for and read many of the books mentioned. thank you !

  • I did buy a while ago some books from Mark Valentine. Still nice to see the guy in person via youtube!

  • 15p for a 1st edition fo David Lindsay's SPHINX! That beats even my "steal" of $5 for the first edition of Rex Stout's FER DE LANCE I found several eyars ago at a book sale in Peoria, Illinois and one buck for Robert Aickman's POWERS OF DARKNESS (1st edition with a VG dust jacket). This was delightful and educational. I now have a list of five new writers to investigate and several titles to track down.
