  • When you say a band is from Finland, you don't say they're from Europe becaue Europe is not a country. Quebec is not a country, so it's appropriate to say that they're a Canadian band.

  • Haha who cares? Augury is awesome!

  • what is that lady there for??

  • @emosucks89 well, a lot say they're from quebec because they're fucking pussy separatist or because th biggest part of good metal in canada are from quebec

  • i think theyre reboks but whatever hahaha

  • Yeah, I saw them with Exodus and they were pretty badass. Tight as hell for sure. I'm not really into Thrash much but there are a bunch of new bands along with Warbringer (Skeleton Witch, Toxic Holocaust, Vacant Coffin, Mammoth Grinder and Horrific) have obvious Thrash influences and bring an newer-edge to the typical mid 80's Thrash. But yeah, Warbringer are so 80's corn about it the lead singer was wearing the Nike pump-shoes, whatever the hell they're called?

  • yeah totally. warbringer has a TON of stage presence too.

  • Yeah, my favorite musicians are not usually my favorite performers. Some bands that put on unbelievable shows: Opeth, The Grateful Dead, Goatwhore, Dying Fetus, Origin, Necrophagist, and Cynic have all performed masterfully. But bands I obsess about seeing include, Cephalic Carnage, Wolves in the Throne Room, Jethro Tull, Vehemence, Kronos, and many others seem to have the aura of great musicians a well as great performers. The art of performance is what bands like BTBAM and the Faceless lack.

  • thats pretty cool. who else would be one of your favorite performers?

  • Yeah, definitely cool guys. Their guitar player/vocalist is one of the craziest writers alive today and a fucking madman live... I loved both their albums, I think I was the only asshole in the Portland show that knew everything they played. They are on the top few favorites for live performers for me now.

  • dude thats awesome!

  • Smoked a bowl with him... He didn't speak English very well but was nice as hell and really interested in what my friend and I thought about their music. Augury are amazing musicians and nice guys too!
