Fishing with a net under the ice. Part 2. Retrieving the net, removing the fish and pulling the net back in place. What fish you get depends on the place and on the size of the holes of the net. This time the catch was small fish, perches and 2 sculpins. With a net with bigger holes we have caught salmon and white fish.

    No. But we have dogs that do. And our neighbours cat likes them. Mostly we just let them go.

  • i see a bunch of hooks on your net too is that to also snag the fish when its in the net.

  • No, there aren't any hooks on the net. You can fish with baited hooks on a line under the ice, but that's another technique.
