Kentucky Road Trip: Part One (Lancaster)

This is part one of my quick, Kentucky Road Trip series. We went down for a short weekend to see my family and pick up a new puppy. This is our first stop in my hometown, Lancaster, KY. Here we hang out with my Mom, Sister and lots of other family and friends.

I think it's similar to hot bacon dressing. We also call it wilted lettuce salad. It's basically bacon grease poured over fresh garden lettuce. It's sooooo good. It really reminds me of home. Hope you had a fun weekend. Clap back!

i thought i recognized the accent, i live less then 4 hr away from there. My grandma makes grease salad :)
