Sounds like it is surging at idle, did you have the car dyno tuned? I've got a mid 240 cam on a 113 in my ls6, and the idle comes right back and stays smooth. BTW, what size cam are you running?

Yeah, it was rough. When that video was made it was early on in the dyno-tune. The challenge with aggressive cams is rough idles and finding that sweet spot recovery time/tune after revving and letting it get to idle without the rpms getting too low... having the engine die. We had to increase the idle rpms to like 1k to thwart having the engine die coming to a stop in street traffic.

Damn, that sound is so unexpected, lol. I own an LS1 myself, only a T/A.. What kind of exhaust is that?

it's a custom single 4" with a magnaflow muffler.
