This fellow seems as amazing, if not more so, than the one-armed fiddle player which the legendary John Hartford tells his wonderful story about .. on JH's last-ever studio-abum "Hamilton Ironworks" (2004, just prior to JH's sad & before-his-time passing .. ).

@colindominy I didn't know that John Hartford had a song about a one-arm fiddle player. I need to check that out. And yes, JH truly is legendary.

Leonard came to the South Dakota state fiddle contest over 35 years ago. I can't tell you if he was a judge or contestant. I do know that he inspired one 55 year old man with a disability to learn to play the fiddle. Believe it or not this man is still playing the fiddle at nearly 90 years of age.

Thanks for sharing this video. It brings back a lot of fond memories.
