@cooljamz1234 This was a Cat 07, now renamed to obstructed oceanview on Continental deck. 2Cs can be found on Continental and Sunrise decks, and the former ones probably have a similar view, just in a more desirable location.

did you know when you bought your trip that 6204 was obstructed view or you found out just when you were on board?

@guillabela This was a pre-inaugural, and we got the cabin as a GTY OV. No one knew the Cat 07s and 2Cs were obstructed until Solstice had her sea trials in late October 2008 and photos appeared of the balconies on these decks and their location above the lifeboats. So, we knew about the issue but never expected to get the cabin cat (unlike some who booked these cats years in advance and got a bad surprise :( ).

Just booked cabin 6202 next door for my first ever cruise. Your video was great to find online as we can see pretty much exactly what we are getting. The only differance is we have an upper berth which I have been told is enclosed in the ceiling, so no big deal. Also there is room for suitcases and bags under the bed so they dont have to be placed out in the open. One month to go and cant wait.
