Thanks!
Sam.
@marcbondlovelace Oh, right, his point of view. Yeah, I did noticed that but I guess I never fully realized the purpose of that zoom in. (Shrugs)

@RhondaLegacy09 if you watch the clip the zoom comes when Buford turns to light her cigarette. its a zoom to express his point of view. i cant imagine any healthy heterosexual male that wouldnt spend more than a few seconds looking at her beautiful firm breasts with those large dark areola's

@marcbondlovelace Maybe I am kind of prudish, but I just thought the zoom in was unnecessary, that's all. I never thought it had anything to do with her character.

and what are you? a prude? obviously the see-thru top was used to show the fact that she was playing a prostitute and that she had beautiful breasts that she used to attract customers. if this kinda stuff offends you then stick to G rated movies

I think my grandfather used to own this movie when he was still alive. I don't know if it's in his house anymore or someone gave it away. I watched it one time while visiting him and I first saw Brenda in this film. She really was a beautiful woman. But I'm kind of bothered by the director zooming in on her breasts. What is he, a pervert or something?

@wbonney In reality, Buford, Jerry Wright and Marvin King Jr were in the bar together to beat and rob owner W.O. Hathcock. It was King that struck Hathcock with a blunt instrument, thought by doctors to be the butt of a gun. Hathcock was alone in the club when he was robbed. Buford and friends, who all lived in Chicago at the time, were arrested after a handkerchief with a Chicago laundry marker was found on the floor of the club> Buford later told friends he indeed robbed Hathcock.

@mikeelam2010 This scene is actually loosely based on a real event when Buford was beaten up and robbed of his mustering out pay after he returned home from the Marines several years before he was sheriff. The movie exaggerated the injuries. Artistic license I guess.
