people call me sweetie all the time, its a general term for women or children or even some men... nothing offensive. Like saying hun, sug, sweetheart... I grew up in the south being called "child" "sweetie" or whatnot... and then moved to Indiana and even at the age of 28 would go to buy a pack of smokes and the cashier would hand them to me saying "here ya go sugar". People need to stop being so sensitive and worry about real issues.

Obama said he was for the little guy. He voted for the $700 billion TARP bailout of big banks and financial institutions. Obama said he wants a strong private sector. Was this before or after he took over GM and Chrysler? Obama said he needed every penny of his $787 billion stimulus plan to immediately jump-start our economy. Since then, another 2.7 million jobs have been lost. But this is an election yr and the Dems held back $550 billion of the "stimulus" package to "stimulate" voters in Nov.
