Showdown with Christopher Lee

Who says Chris Lee has got no humor? Here he's playing himself in an interview where his host has the sincere belief that he's talking to Count Dracula, no less. From the Austrian comedy tv program Showdown, filmed in 1980. It's all in German, though.
His comments from the backgrounds before his appearance in the flesh are from the opera Der Freischütz.

Most of it is playing with words - with the idea of similarity of words or expression, and you can't translate that, sadly.

Well, he spent the last few years of the war as a cypher operator, so he probably picked up a few words of the great German language - at work, so to speak ;)
