STP: Group Health Seattle to Portland Bike Classic

This beautiful ride was organized by Cascade Bike club, Group Health, and was wonderful. The event had over 10,000 riders. I rode with Derek Faylor and Ben Tollman. For Ben and I it was STP #2, but for Derek, this was his first double century ever. Both did well.

Great video! I enjoyed 2011 STP. I did it solo this year and finished with a saddle time of 11 hours and 49 minutes at 17.1 avg speed. I will be doing it again in 2012.

Very nice video! Did they change some of the route because it used to go over the Broadway Bridge (if memory serves me correctly) into Portland... and it looked as if you went over a different one in this video. Also it used to be 204 miles... and your video said 210. Very cool if they did change some of the route... just curious! Nice video again and I plan to go this next year for sure! :)

They did change the route this year. It was 210 because we rode from our hotel to the start it was an extra 6 miles.
