@rubelcool The anime isn't as good as Higurashi, but I heard that the original sound novels are better than the Higurashi sound novels. I haven't played them though, so I can't be sure. And they're all in Japanese, too, but there should be some fan-made translations out.

the opening is one of the greatest as its predecessor higurashi no naku koro ni, hands down. but i was really disappointed that it wasnt that great as higurashi. idk its may be just me that is feeling this way. may be i should have seen this one before the higurashi series. otherwise, its still a great anime but could not maintain the same caliber as higurashi imo.

@im50yearsold I think they did the best they could with the time they had. It would have been better if they had used two seasons on the first four games.
