It almost looks like one of those computer generated models
-
good job. I must have been tricky to force his cat shoulders into a more human position so that it sits right in the excercise
-
Watching this, I'm imagining George Sanders(the original Shere Khan) as Scar.

hemm i have a question on why your doing the rotation exercise on these characters?
-
Scar is amused too.

@kmcc93 oh ok lol :D
-
@kmcc93 hmm why not?
-
@Zir0nix No, not really. Just practice. No such thing as "proper" in art.

how come all of your animations say "meow" at the end?

@sweetbug123 its what the assignment required, you pick a character, animate their head rotating and then do an expression change and lipsync to the meow clip

i would like to learn animating on my own (if possible) and i was wondering if you drew the head rotation after a clay model. could you give me some good lins where i may learn how to animate? thanks. great work, btw.

I did not use a model, just drew Scar from reference over and over to figure out how he is put together. After that I began working out front, side and back views. And where you should study depends on what kind of animation you want to do.

@naly202
why not study animation?
After all - if that is something you like, it'd be easy and fast to learn (no need to search for amotivation). You can do it in your spare time
