I got to see a great show at Wolf Trap near d.C. with JLH , B. B. King , and the late Albert Collins. WOW!! If you have a chance, catchh BB bfore he passes. You can still catch him in smaller clubs. Like JLH when I saw him, he's in the "sit down and play" phase and doesn't get around as much on stage

Wow, good for him! Does he do blues like his dad? I am embarassed to admitt that I have only heard of John Lee Hooker this past year. A blues group checked into a hotel where I work at , gave me a CD of theirs and told me they are inspired by Hooker. After listening to his music on Youtube, I went out and got about every JLH cd I could get my hands on! Do you know if his son has any released material?

Thank you so much for posting these videos! LOL, now you made me want to add Tinsley Ellis to my already expanding Blues Collection! Do you listen to John Lee Hooker? He is great too.

Thanks for commenting on my videos. I not only listen to John Lee Hooker, I idolize the man. He is one of the all time great blues musicians, possibly the greatest. I never got a chance to see him live, but I have seen his son, John Lee Hooker Jr., live. He puts on a great show.

That sounds like it was an awesome concert, three blues legends on one stage. I try and see as many great blues acts as I can. I just recently saw Johnny Winter play, and even though he is also in the sit down and play stage he can still tear it up with the guitar. I've also seen Buddy Guy a couple of times, and he's still amazing at 70 years old. I'd like to see B.B. King some time though.
