yamaha dd series suck

I"m just now getting into Pro Tools. I know I can hook this machine up via Midi In/Out and use it as a controller, but I'm wondering what the quality would be like if I were to go from the 1/8" headphone jack to a 1/4" jack and then into a USB M-Audio interface? Any professionals care to lend me some feedback on doing that?

Auf dem Alesis perf. pad mit den Händen zu spielen, geht nicht. Wie Elefantenhäute, doch zum wieder lernen ganz gut. Evtl. ist Zusatzgerät nützlich. Doch von Alesis bin ich in Hinsicht Lautstärke - die sollte also nicht umgebende Wohnungen aktivieren - enttäuscht. Und 8tel, 16tel zu schlagen ist bei den rubber pads nicht einfach, manche Schläge kommen nicht durch. Doch jetzt mit 7A Sticks geht es etwas besser.

thx, I bought the Alesis perform. pad now, jedoch leise spielen ist darauf vorerst kaum möglich. Diese 8 Gummi-Reifen sind nicht so sensibel, wie ich dachte. Ich komme auf das DD-65 noch mal zurück...

@aircraft7x yeah you can buy electic pedals from yamaha and plug them in, theyre quite expensive though.
