This recording at least 94 years old
I rarely find Columbia records in such a pristine condition such as this record and I will not bother with them but I took a chance and it surprised me. In 1909 The University of Wisconsin held a fight song contest and this song was the winner and an instant hit. Early Columbia ran at 80 RPM for the most part but still it varied depending on the recording engineer and the artist being recorded. I also downloaded the newest version of Audacity and it includes a log spectrograph that can give you an accurate visual depiction of a record response range in 100 Hz.

Love this, dude. Thanks for posting. What a classic! I think the band should add that whistle/piccolo to their ensemble (Piccolo Man, perhaps?)!
