The Flakpanzer (shortened form of the German Flugabwehrkanonenpanzer or "anti-aircraft cannon tank") Gepard (English: Cheetah) is an autonomous, all-weather-capable German self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (SPAAG). It was developed in the 1960s and fielded in the 1970s, and has been upgraded several times with the latest electronics. It constitutes a cornerstone of the air defence of the German Army (Deutsches Heer) and a number of other NATO-states.

  • @smitl046 LIES I TELL YOU!

  • Würde mal ganz frech behaupten, dass Ding sieht aus wie nen weiterentwickelter Ostwind :D

  • what i love about this is its ww2 combat experience that allows the engineers in germany to build equipment like this. Thats what happens when u take on the world no matter if you lose you learn so much about the importance of vehicles like this to protect your tanks for aircraft just like the flakpanzer series protected thier tanks against allie air support. if you wanna know which countries military is the best to reflect nowdays its Germany all the way

  • @JeezyOuSuck Hitler didn´t make anything...actually german engineers in WW2 would have made a lot more sophisticated stuff without him as he delayed several projects with his stupid orders! The only reason why there were so many inventions was because it was war and german engineers got a lot of pressure, money and freedom (in terms of unconventional thinking) to solve different problems! It had nothing to do with Hitler!

  • @smitl046 bf 3 Sucks

  • @hfdsssss They do move in BF3. there is a stationary and mobile one for each team.

  • @poik12 idc what kind of AA it is...my point was that in BF 3 they ain't moving around. but that would be cool if they did.

  • @hfdsssss While you may be trolling, Smit is an absolute idiot. From the physical similarities, I believe he has jumped to the conclusions that this is the AA tank in BF3, this is incorrect, the Russian army to this day use the Tunguska system, not the Flakpanzer Gepard.

  • @smitl046 lies >:O they don't move around in BF 3.

  • Its battlefield 3!
