GFrom Reviews - Castlevania (NES - 1988)

This is my Halloween Special. And by "Special" I mean SPECIAL. I've never done anything like this before and it was a lot of work. This is my 17th Video Review, I hope you enjoy :)

And before anyone says something about AVGN...yes, this Episode was inspired by his work, and this was my first try to make something in this format, so bare with me. I'm not planning in making more videos like this...well, with the exception of the next one.

Hilarious review. I was laughing my head off when I heard "slap a parrot", and "I'd rather... go shoe shopping with three women!" certainly beats anything AVGN ever came up with (and I'm a big AVGN fan). The Japanese version of Castlevania is easier because you can save it and turn it off (it came on a disk, not a cartridge). I only ever beat the Japanese GBA version which also has the save feature, but it's still the hardest game I've ever completed.

lol good review man, don't feel bad about being mad about this game, I had my roommates think I was possessed when I was trying to beat this, and they were about to call an exorcist. Like you, I was exhausted when I beat this game, all of my gaming powers were completely drained. And I couldn't give up because they're no passwords for this game. This old school hard feeling is what some of these games need to have today.

Ich fand die Stelle witzig wo du so über das Spiel sprichst und quasi parallel zockst und dann so auf einmal "What? I died?" ... HAHA :D

Sounds like your new "top loader" needs a step-down transformer to convert your European 220V to the USA 110V. That's assuming you haven't killed the system entirely by simply plugging it into the electrical socket using just a plug converter.
